processing time and costs

The processing time for each case, and therefore also the cost, is affected by how complicated and extensive the requested change is.

It is the time we need to spend on a case and the number of affected properties that determines the price.

It is only after you have submitted your application and a case officer has been assigned to your case and started their investigation that you can get information about the possibilities for the measure and what it may cost. We cannot provide any preliminary information about whether a case is feasible or what it will cost.

Cost

The cost is calculated based on a fixed base price and an hourly rate for the case officer's work. All procedure services are VAT-free.

Base Price

Most procedures have the same base amount of 6,500 SEK. The additional amount, beyond the base amount, for more than 5 affected properties is 12,000 SEK.

  • Subdivision (breaking something into smaller parts)
  • Partition (dividing something into parts)
  • Consolidation (combining things into one)
  • Property Regulation (rules about owning land or buildings)
  • Property Determination (deciding what land or buildings are owned)
  • Formation of Joint Property (creating shared ownership of land or buildings)
  • Formation of Joint Facility (creating shared use of a building or area)
  • Easement Procedure (rules for using someone else's land for a specific purpose)

Other Procedures

  • Special Boundary Marking 25,000–35,000 SEK depending on the number of points. If a running account is desired for special boundary marking, an hourly rate of 1,900 SEK/hour is charged.
  • Registration of shares according to Section 24 a AL from 3,250 SEK. Each additional affected property costs 700 SEK beyond that.
  • Decision on connection according to Section 42 a AL from 6,500 SEK. Each additional affected property costs 700 SEK beyond that.
  • Approval of an agreement according to Section 43 AL from 6,500 SEK. Each additional affected property costs 700 SEK beyond that.

Hourly Rate

The hourly rate is 1,900 SEK for procedure surveyors, 1,700 SEK for map and measurement engineers, and 1,200 SEK for assistant case officers (procedure case officers/procedure assistants).

Experts from other authorities, organizations, or companies involved in the case may charge other hourly rates.
